Following the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Saturday that it is essential to counter terrorism with great determination.
In a phone conversation with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi on Saturday, Rouhani highlighted the importance of cooperation in fighting terrorism.
Rouhani was to start his tour of Italy and France on Saturday, however, he was forced to cancel the trip due to the terror attacks in Paris.
“We know that how much loathsome and terrible are the terrorist activities, but we are sure that the terrorists will not achieve their goals in the face the nations and governments’ will,” he explained.
The Italian prime minister said that Iran plays an important role in campaign against terrorism.
