
Martyr Behzad Hemmati Ghahveh, was born on February 27, 1958, in Kermanshah and completed his education up to a diploma in Sanandaj and Kermanshah. In 1979, after the victory of the Revolution, he entered university. After the temporary closure of universities, he served as the head of the Jihad-e Sazandegi (Construction Jihad) and as the district administrator (Bakhshdar) in Divandarreh.
This great martyr was a first-year university student when he was martyred by the Komala terrorist group on June 2, 1982, in Divandarreh.
A Memory of Behzad
On a cold winter day, a woman came to get fuel oil to heat her home. When Behzad found out that this woman had orphaned children, he himself carried the oil container to her doorstep and also paid for the oil. This, while the woman's husband was a member of the Komala terrorist group who had abandoned his wife and children and taken up arms against the Islamic Republic and supporters of the government.
It is worth mentioning that Hajieh Sarvar Hayatbini, the mother of martyr Behzad Hemmati, recently passed away after years of enduring pain and suffering.
