Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said in a meeting with IRGC Qods Force commander that if the special role played by the revered and champion martyr of campaign against terrorism did not exist today "our region would have looked different".
Qods Force Commander Brigadier General Esmail Qa’ani attending the Foreign Ministry congratulated Hossein Amirabdollahian for starting his work as the Islamic Republic of Iran foreign minister.
Amirabdollahian in the meeting further stressed that if the ISIS would have gained success in Syria and Iraq today the whole world would have been faced with the terrorism and extremism problems.
“The Qods Force is the soldiers without borders, who have contributed greatly to both the regional and the international peace and security,” added the foreign minister.
Iran's top diplomat said that the Islamic Republic of Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs proudly paves the path that the Peace Commander Haj Qassem Soleimani set its foundations, in strengthening the foundations of peace and friendship with the regional countries and campaign against terrorism.
Brigadier General Qa’ani, too, in the meeting commemorated Martyr Soleimani as well as the martyrs of the Foreign Ministry, reiterating that they have a special position in securing Iran’s national interests.
