Interior Minister Underlines Fighting Unbridled Terrorism in Region

Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi in a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Suleyman Soylu stressed fighting the unbridled terrorism in the region and controlling trans-regional powers’ interference.

Vahidi said that the Iranian government’s has adopted good-neighborliness and promoting cooperation between neighbors as its definite policy.

He described Iran and Turkey as two important powers in the region which play vital role in establishing peace and stability.

He reiterated that maintaining endogenous security in the region is a joint responsibility for Iran and Turkey.

Borders of Iran and Turkey are borders of cultural and economic exchanges and solidarity, he noted.

Meanwhile, Soylu emphasized Turkey’s determination for reinforcing relations with Iran.

He expressed readiness for visiting Iran and holding talks with his Iranian counterpart.
