TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (MNA) – Secretary of SNSC has sent a message of condolence to his Pakistani counterpart where he condemned a terrorist attack on a police training college in Quetta.
The message by Ali Shamkhani, Leader’s representative to Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, was addressed to Nasser Khan Janjua, Pakistan’s National Secutiy Adviser where he offered condolences to Pakistan’s government and bereaved families of the victims of the attack. “The terrorist blast hitting the police academy reveals the berserk nature of the terrorism and extremism in its most violent manifestation, which should be addressed indiscriminately by all countries victims of terrorist attacks, casting out political considerations,” Shamkhani’s message read.
“At least 59 people have died and more than 110 were injured after a team of heavily armed suicide attackers stormed a police training academy in the Pakistani city of Quetta. The government said three gunmen attacked the Baluchistan police college on the outskirts of the capital of Baluchistan province at about 11:20 pm local time on Monday, killing two guards on the front gate and then making straight for the hostel where 700 cadets were sleeping,” a Guardian coverage report of the event wrote on Tuesday.
