Incident Description:
In the past week, armed anti-revolutionaries took several active revolutionary forces from the Kurdistan region hostage on the Bijar–Divandarreh road. The attackers were armed with Kalashnikovs, G3 rifles, and RPG-7s and had blocked the road. Among them were 7 members of the land distribution committee. After several days of imprisonment and torture, they were martyred. The mutilated bodies of two of them were found on the Divandarreh–Sanandaj road. The names of three of the martyrs are: Hossein Yazdanpanah, a member of the 7-person land distribution committee; Asghar Ghavajieh (Ali-Asghar Ghavvasseh), head of Construction Jihad in Dehgolan; and Jafar Abdollahi.
