On September 12, 1999, At 23:15 of 09 Ramadan, after the Iftar time, an agent of Towhid terrorist grouplet went to his house to ask religious questions from him. Mamusta Borhan Aali opened the door and was busy answering his question while another agent of that grouplet approached him and shot him in front of his family.

Hassan Ayat was born in Najafabad, a city in the Isfahan Province, on June 24, 1938. He was Representative of Tehran people in the Parliament. In the morning (6:50) of August 05, 1981 Ayat left his home for work (Iranian Parliament) when he was ambushed by the terrorists of MKO; they shot him with around 60 bullets killing him instantly and he achieved martyrdom.

He had studied up to Elementary school, but due to poor economic conditions could not continue his education. After the revolution, Morteza joined Rasht's Firefighting. Ghulam Reza Akbari who had active role in countering anti-revolutionary groups, especially the MKO terrorist group, finally was assassinated by them on November 27, 1982.
