The commander of the West Azerbaijan Border Guard has reported the martyrdom of one of its border guards in a clash with terrorist groups.
According to Habilian, the West Azerbaijan Border Guard commander announced that one border guard had been martyred in the engagement with terrorist elements.
The West Azerbaijan Border Guard commander stated: "Third Lieutenant Hossein Rasouli, a border guard with the Chaldoran Border Regiment, was martyred in a clash with the hostile PKK group."
He added: "During the confrontation, border guard forces successfully eliminated two members of this group."
