Twin Terrorist Attacks Target Security Forces in Southeastern Iran; Multiple Casualties Reported

In the early hours of this morning, two separate terrorist attacks occurred in the provinces of Kerman and Sistan and Baluchestan. In Fahraj County, Kerman province, armed elements attacked a police checkpoint, leading to the martyrdom of three law enforcement officers—Saeed Hadipour, Morad Salehi, and Eisa Borsam—as well as a civilian, a 16-year-old Baloch teenager named Mansour Lajehi. The terrorist group Ansar al-Forqan has claimed responsibility for this assault.

Simultaneously, in the city of Iranshahr, Sistan and Baluchestan province, occupants of two passenger vehicles clashed with security forces with the intent to attack. According to a police statement, the assailants fled the scene after encountering resistance, and no casualties were reported among the security personnel. The armed individuals are currently being pursued. Iranian security and law enforcement agencies have launched intensive investigations into both incidents.
