Kobra Mohammadpour was born on March 21, 1946, in the city of Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province. Her mother was a housewife, and her father was self-employed. Due to the lack of educational facilities and the cultural conditions of the time, she was unable to pursue formal education and instead devoted herself to managing her household.
In her youth, she married Ahmad Bani Bashar, and together they had five children—three sons and two daughters. Kobra Mohammadpour was always a devoted wife and a compassionate mother. She raised her children with deep religious values, teaching them from an early age about the tenets of Islam and the importance of observing religious duties. She also instilled in them a strong commitment to supporting the Islamic Republic of Iran and following the path of the late Imam Khomeini (may God bless him).
Ultimately, this exemplary and selfless mother was wounded on April 26, 1980, when she was struck by shrapnel during mortar attacks carried out by the terrorist group Komalah. Two days later, she succumbed to her injuries and attained martyrdom. Her pure body was laid to rest in the Tayeleh Cemetery in Sanandaj.
