Terrorism a common threat to Iran, Pakistan: Iranian FM

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that Daesh and al Qaeda are common threat to Iran and Pakistan.

Pakistan and Iran must fight terrorists groups including Daesh and al Qaeda, said Zarif in a meeting with Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Saturday.

He called for expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries. He said that all Pakistani banks would be able to broaden banking cooperation with Iran without any concern.

Aizaz Chaudhry said that relations between the two countries were on the rise and Pakistani companies were eager to broaden cooperation with their Iranian counterparts. He said Pakistan attached importance to expansion of economic cooperation with Iran.
