Name: Seyyed Habibollah Hosseini

Date of Birth: 1960

Place of Birth: Binamt

Date of Martyrdom: January 26, 1982

Place of Martyrdom: Amol

Martyr Hosseini was born in 1960 in Binamt village near Amol city. He continued his studies up to the second year in high school and then left the school. He had dedicated his life to promote Islam and joined the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps to help protect the Islamic Revolution’s achievements. He was in charge of his village’s Islamic Society and its library. Seyyed Habibollah Hosseini was also an active member of Fadaeeian e-Islam organization in Amol. He used to hold religious ceremonies in his village in which he educated people about their responsibilities in protecting the Islamic Revolution.

Martyr Hosseini was raised in Imam Hossein’s (P.B.U.H) doctrine and had really well learned the lesson taught by his Imam. He believed one should never accept the tyranny and also believed we must irrigate the Islamic Revolution tree by our blood. So he entered the battle with God enemies and fought the American mercenaries interestingly and sincerely as long as he sacrificed his life on this path. His honorable soul is indeed in heaven and his name will stay alive forever as his lord’s name, Imam Hossein (P.B.U.H).

A part of martyr Hosseini’s testament reads:

“Among the believers there are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Some have fulfilled their vow dying, and others await, unyielding to change…”

We belong to God and to him we shall return. So we would better move on his desired path as we seek his satisfaction.

Hello to the great leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khomeini, the brave son of Fatima (P.B.U.H) and hello to my dear parents who led me to God’s path. Hello to brave people of Iran who sacrificed their children on the path of Islam; The people who are always there and listen to their leader and stand against the Islam enemies without any excuses.

My dear parents! I am writing my will in a trench in Marivan battlefield while fighting the Ba’athi infidels and inner anti revolutionaries. I have come to this sacred fight willingly in order to defeat these super criminals and take the rights of oppressed people of the world from them.

We follow the doctrine of Imam Hossein (P.B.U.H) and move on his path. All the world people know that the enemies of our Revolution, who are standing against Imam Khomeini, follow Yazid and Moavieh. But it seems they are as holy Quran says; “…deaf, dumb, and blind, they shall never return.” They never intend to give themselves the chance to think so they can differentiate between the right and the wrong. O God! You are aware of what is within my heart. You know I am speaking sincerely and all I’m trying for is to take the right of the oppressed from the arrogant and defend Islam against heresy. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t have come to the frontlines three times a year to seek martyrdom. So I sacrifice my life and blood for you as we belong to you. O God! You are the one who gives us power to climb up mountains like deer to stop the ignorant enemies and the mercenaries of the East and the West from entering our Islamic country’s soil. The country about which Imam Ali (P.B.U.H) says: “There will be a day when Iranian people crush you Arab infidels to revive Islam.” O blind-hearted people! Why don’t you want to help the religion which is born in your lands and has lightened the whole world? You are like bats that run away from the light.

I have a word with my brothers and sisters. Your duty is to help protect this Revolution and obey our great leader Imam Khomeini. Stand against the infidels and the hypocrites and don’t give them the opportunity to make riots. Be patient against the hardships since God loves the patient people. Continue the martyrs’ path. Don’t allow the martyrs’ efforts be wasted and always remember God as the hearts are set at res by the remembrance of God. I ask my whole family not to cry over my body. If you want to cry, cry for Imam Hossein (P.B.U.H). My dear father, take a part of my money for your own expenses and spend another part of it to bring great lecturers to our village and buy fresh books for the village’s library. And spend the rest as you know it would best serve Islam…”
