Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian stressed the efforts made by Iran in line with fighting extremism in the region.
Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with special security adviser to Syrian president Ali Mamlouk.
Referring to Iran’s efforts in fighting terrorism and extremism in the region, he stressed the continuation of Iran’s support for the Syrian government and people.
Meanwhile, Mamlouk emphasized Iran’s important role in strengthening regional stability and especially countering terrorist groups, the position of Martyr Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani in this regard.
