Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Parliament's General Director for International Affairs, said America’s military presence in Syria is a violation of international laws.
Iran’s Amir-Abdollahian, at a meeting with Syria's Ambassador to Tehran Adnan Hassan Mahmoud, said American fighters’ attacks on Syrian soldiers who are fighting the war against terrorism made America’s intentions even clearer than before.”
The official emphasized that Iran denounces presence of US soldiers in Syria since White House will do anything to weaken Syria’s determination and boost terrorist groups.
He reiterated that the presence of US in Syria marks violation of international laws since it has not been coordinated with the Syrian government encouraging Syrians to be wary of American’s insidious behavior.
At the end of his remarks, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said attacking an army which is fighting against terrorism is backstabbing and can be interpreted as support for ISIL; “the US breach of commitment was not limited to the Joint Comprehensive Plan (JCPOA) as American fighters attacked the Syrian army on Saturday violating the Russia-US brokered ceasefire in Syria," he concluded.
