Iran offers to provide other countries with counter-terrorism expriences

 

In a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, President Rouhani said Iran can provide other countries, including Macedonia, with valuable experiences in combating terrorism.

Explaining the roots of terrorism and its global threats, President Rouhani said in the meeting: “Iran has valuable experiences in combating terrorism and can provide other countries, including Macedonia with these experiences”.

Rouhani also underscored the need to vaccinate the youth against extremist ideas, especially in cyberspace and said: “Some are trying to attribute deviant thoughts to Islam, which has no connection with Islam and Muslims, to attract the youth to terrorism and extremist actions”.

In this meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia Nikola Poposki said: “Skopje is determined to deepen ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields and in doing so, it will soon open its embassy in Tehran”.
