Martyr Mohammad Abkar was born in Famnin town during the tyranny of Pahlavi regime. His birth was a promise of the collapse of the tyranny and the oppression of the Shah regime and a sign for the rise of freedom. He spent his childhood near his family in a very friendly environment. Mohammad was a very wise talented student and he could successfully graduate from the military college. He was recruited by the 3rd armored brigade of Qazwin’s 16th division after he graduated from college. He advanced quickly and soon became the commander of battalion 224. Mohammad Abkar had major activities during the establishment of the Islamic movement in Iran and made important impacts on the movement along with his friends.

After the Islamic government was established, he chose to serve at the Islamic Republic Army as a divine duty and enthusiastically accomplished the missions assigned to him. During the Iraqi imposed war on Iran, martyr Abkar showed much bravery and different warzones have witnessed his sacrifices. Finally, on the final days of war, he was martyred in Mehran region during an attack on Iran from the terrorist Mujahedin e-Khalq organization.
