Second batch of some 400 MKO terrorists cast out under UN supervision

Diyala Operations Command Chief describes the second stage of Mujahedin-e Khalq’s expulsion from Ashraf as "trouble-free", adding that it was under the supervision of the United Nations.

"In this stage 400 residents of Ashraf have been expelled and sent to Camp Liberty in accordance with previous agreement," Abdul-Amir Zaidi told Habilian reporter by phone.

He noted that the third stage hinges on coordination with the UN.

Some 800 members of terrorist organization Mujahedin-e Khalq have been transferred to Camp Liberty in two groups.

On February 18, the first batch of around 397 members of the group was sent to their new temporary place.

The second group of almost 400 residents of Camp Ashraf was transferred to Camp Liberty on Thursday. According to the reports, some members of the terrorist group were carrying cold weapons.
