He was born in Dasht-e Azadegan county, Khuzestan province, Iran. He was a poor, illiterate and self-employed worker. Father of five children, he was badly injured in the bomb blast in Ahwaz launched by Al-Tawhid wa Al-Jihad militants in October 15, 2005. After that he was taken to Imam Khomeini (ra) Hospital for treatment, but he finally died of severe injuries.
