The Secretary-General of the Habilian Association stated that the United States and the Zionist regime are behind the recent unrest in the country. He said the goal of the destructive and terrorist actions is hurting the Iranian people and everything related to their well-being.
The acts of sabotage and terror in recent days in various regions of Iran have occurred while the footprints of rioters and elements linked to the intelligence services of the Zionist regime and the United States have been more evident than ever in these unpleasant developments. In the meantime, the open support announced by the U.S. and the Zionist regime for such actions has not only removed any doubt about their role but has also placed a seal of approval on their previous and failed interference and destabilization efforts in Iran’s affairs.
The country’s Security Council, in a statement on the matter, declared: In the 12-day war until today, the Zionist regime continues to oppress Iranians through hybrid battles. It sometimes changes tactics but has not abandoned its warmongering against the steadfast Iranian nation.
In this regard, Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, Secretary-General of the Habilian Association, told Mizan news agency: A look at the organization of the destructive actions of recent days and the background of those behind them shows that these elements had previously revealed their true face.
He added that the Leader of the Revolution had previously stated that the difference between the current and previous U.S. presidents is that previous U.S. officials did not openly reveal the hidden intentions and goals of the American regime, whereas the current president explicitly announces these sinister intentions and goals. The Americans had previously declared that they stand behind the destruction, unrest, terrorist, and criminal acts occurring in Iran.
Referring to former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s explicit statement that elements of the Zionist regime are present in Iran’s unrest, Hasheminejad said: They clearly identified the role of their agents, which shows that the recent actions are not about the Iranian people or their demands. Rather, sabotage and creating insecurity among the Iranian people is the main goal. What happened in recent days fully matches the statements of Zionist officials, and the main orchestrators have announced it themselves. Past experiences of such actions should serve as a lesson for the mercenaries that their ranks are separate from the cultured and civilized people and nation of Iran.
Hasheminejad said the destructions clearly show that the main goal is to toy with the security and psychology of the Iranian people. Setting fire to people’s shops, vehicles used by the middle class, fire engines, and other destructive and terrorist actions clearly indicate that their targets are the Iranian people and everything related to their well-being.
The Secretary-General of the Habilian Association said that the main obstacle to hearing and exchanging genuine demands and grievances of the people is these very elements, who do not allow legitimate demands — which the Leader of the Revolution has also acknowledged — to be heard. Foreign actors are trying to eliminate the space for protests to be heard.
