MKO’s Support for Recognizing the Zionist Regime

The Secretary-General of the Habilian Association stated that the MKO (Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization) terrorist group, by criticizing the principled stance of Iran and some Arab and Islamic countries, has labeled Iran's opposition to the two-state solution as a "betrayal of Palestine."

According to Habilian, Seyed Mohammad-Javad Hasheminejad, Secretary-General of Habilian Association, in an interview with a political correspondent from Fars News Agency, said: "Following the recent United Nations General Assembly vote regarding the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and the two-state solution—which equates to recognizing Israel and accepting its occupation of vast Palestinian territories—29 countries refrained from voting for this plan." He added, "Iran, Iraq, and Tunisia are among the Islamic countries opposing the two-state solution, believing that any two-state solution means accepting the occupation of large parts of Palestine and Al-Quds and legitimizing it."

Hasheminejad stated, "Since the occupation of Palestine by the Zionist regime in 1948, Palestinians have lost nearly 80% of their land. Naturally, supporting the aforementioned plan means legitimizing this occupation and the occupation of the city of Jerusalem, handing it over to the Zionist apartheid regime." He continued, "However, the MKO terrorist group, whose dossier of ties and cooperation with the intelligence and security services of the Zionist regime was recently publicized by Hebrew-language media after the 12-day imposed war, has criticized the principled stance of Iran and some Arab and Islamic countries, calling Iran's opposition to the two-state solution a 'betrayal of Palestine'!"

The Secretary-General of Habilian Association noted: "The Zionist media 'The Times of Israel' acknowledged in a report on August 10 this year that elements of the MKO terrorist group, by collecting traffic data around Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah and transferring it to Tel Aviv, helped the Zionist regime's intelligence agency carry out a deadly attack."

He added, "According to this media outlet, 'the scope of cooperation between the MKO and Mossad went beyond a single hospital attack. American officials have confirmed that the MKO has been "funded, trained, and armed" by the Israeli secret service to assassinate Iranian nuclear scientists.' Hasheminejad said, 'The group's operational network had managed to provide Israeli forces with "precise coordinates" of sensitive infrastructure, including security sites, weapons facilities, and research laboratories.'"

He further stated, "This level of cooperation between the MKO and the occupying, murderous Zionists, besides revealing the anti-human and anti-Iranian nature of this treasonous group and its continuity—exemplified initially by their collaboration with Saddam during the imposed war—shows why the leaders of this group, by publishing materials in support of the Zionist regime's occupation under the name of the two-state solution, are lashing out at countries supporting Palestine like Iran, Iraq, and Tunisia."

Hasheminejad emphasized: "The question that arises is: Aren't these signals sent to the Zionist regime an announcement of readiness for further cooperation and full alignment with it? How long and to what extent will the mutual support between the MKO and the child-killing regime continue? What will be the MKO's role in any potential sabotage and terrorist actions by the Zionist regime against the Iranian people? And numerous other questions of this kind..."

Habilian Secretary-General said, "It now becomes clear why, during the brutal and criminal aggressions and attacks by the Zionists against the innocent people of Gaza, with approximately 65,000 martyrs so far, the MKO has not taken the slightest action to condemn the Zionist regime and, without naming the child-killing regime, has only struck a peace-seeking pose."
