MKO claims responsibility for assassination of Arak’s Deputy Prosecutor

The Mujahedeen e-Khalq terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the assassination of Deputy Prosecutor of Arak, the capital of Markazi Province, Iran, in 1983.


According to Habilian Association database (Specialized Center of Research on the MKO's Crimes), the MKO terrorist group has made the confession in No. 159 of the Mojahed Magazine, the group’s main press organ during early years of the 80s.


According to this news that the MKO’s publication has referred to it as a document for its bravely operations, on April 21, 1983, agents of the MKO after a reconnaissance mission, assassinated “Sharifi”, Deputy Prosecutor of Arak in his office. According to this news, the mentioned person was seriously wounded during the attack.


The Mojahedin-e Khalq terrorist group, which operates freely in Western countries these days, has killed about 12,000 of Iranian people for observance of religious rituals, membership in revolutionary institutions or support for the Islamic Republic.
