Mokhtar Kamangar was born on August 5, 1951. He continued his seminary studies and started serving as a clergyman. He lived in Sanandaj city. Mokhtar was married and had two children. He was assassinated on November 3, 1981 in the city of Kamiyaran in a terrorist bombing by Komala Party.
