“As a popular non-governmental organization, Habilian Association shall start a global campaign of counter-terrorism. “Said Ayatollah Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of thought, in a meeting with Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, Secretary General of Habilian Association.
In this meeting, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki referred to the US and Saudi Arabia’s activities conducted under the pretext of fighting terrorism and said: “It would be better if you, families of terror victims, start a global campaign against terrorism and Takfir. I believe you have the capacity to do more.”
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of thought continued: “Starting a global network of counter-terrorism is not very costly. It only takes to be active in social networks and get for instance 10 thousand people to follow you.”
He also included: “It is very important to set correct goals. For instance, your goal could be to make known the real nature of terrorist movements, their roots and thoughts. Wahabism must be introduced as the ideological source of Takfiri movements and another part of the campaign may include revealing the West’s support for terrorism.”
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Hasheminejad briefed Ayatollah Araki on Habilian Association’s activities.
