OIC Secretary General condemns Saravan terrorist attack

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has condemned the recent deadly terrorist attack on Iranian border guards in Sistan and Balouchestan province which left 14 dead and wounded a few others.

According to the official website of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the second largest international organization after the United Nations grouping 57 member states, the Secretary General of the OIC, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has condemned the recent deadly terrorist attack on Iranian border guards in Sistan and Balouchestan province.

The attack occurred on Friday October 25, when a number of armed members of the terrorist Jaish al-Adl group attacked the Iranian border guards, killing 14 and wounding a few others.

While reiterating the principled OIC’s position condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, the Secretary General called for the imperative to bring the perpetrators of this terrorist attack to justice. He further expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the Government and people of Iran and prayed for the quick recovery of the wounded.
