Mohammad-Ali Akbari was born into a Muslim religious family in a village near Qom, south of Tehran, and finished his preliminary studies in his birthplace. In his early youth, Akbari left his village for Tehran, where he experienced different jobs.

There he fulfilled his military service and got married. Mohammad-Ali Akbari and his brother were working at a rug store when they were hit by a hail of bullets by members of the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK, also known as MKO and PMOI).

Akbari’s only crime for which such he was killed in such a cruel way was his support for the founder of 1979 Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini.
