Mahdi Faraji Berofti was born in 1960 in Mazandaran and made a living as farmer. When he learned about the presence of terrorists in western Iran, he joined the Basij forces to fight against them and started fighting against anti-revolutionary terrorist groups. Finally, on April 15, 1981, he was martyred due to a terrorist attack.
