MKO, ISIL terrorist groups like-minded

TEHRAN, Jul. 13 (MNA) – Iran’s Ambassador to Kuwait Alireza Enayati condemned the mercenary operations of anti-Iran terrorist group Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization's (MKO).

Speaking during the signing ceremony commemorating the martyrs of the terrible terrorist attack in Karrada of Iraq on Tuesday, Enayati expressed condolences and sympathy to the government, nation and families of the martyrs of the tragic event.

He also said MKO whose hands are stained with the blood of many patriots is despised with the Iranian nation with a long history of terrorist bombings and assassinations in its black record which has resulted in martyrdom and wounding of more than tens of thousands of innocent people.

Enayati attended the ceremony in Iraq’s embassy in Kuwait and declared Iran’s sympathy and solidarity with the people of Iraq.

He also met with Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Bahr Al-Uloom and exchanged views on the importance of dealing with takfiri groups and fighting terrorism.

During the meeting, Iranian ambassador stressed that terrorism has no borders, not for themselves, and called for cooperation and collective effort to contain and suppress takfiri groups.

Enayati also condemned terrorist acts of MKO, saying terrorist groups like ISIL and MKO are like-minded and their hands are stained with the blood of many innocent people.

He asserted that when MKO members lost position in Iran and were expelled in the early years after the Islamic Revolution, resorted to the criminal regime of Saddam Hussein and were his ally in the war against their own countrymen and the invasion of Kuwait, until his overthrow.
