Olivier: Americans don’t know about MKO crimes

Former mayor of Bellflower, California and Vice Presidential Candidate for the Libertarian Party in 2000 said people in America “just don’t know about Mujahedin-e Khalq” and their past history.

“Of course if they did, they would never support the politicians that’s support those terrorists,” Art Olivier told Habilian, adding the necessity of making the crimes of MKO known to the Americans.

The writer and producer of award-winning 9/11 fiction, Operation Terror, added that the MKO members are “more or less mercenaries,” which “western intelligence are funding them.”

“I think that without the western funding, they would probably just go away,” he added.

Olivier described US officials’ war threats against Iran as “unfortunate,” adding that the people that control the American government control most of the energy. “So, they are always going to be looking at trying to control Iran’s energy supplies again just as they did when the Shah was in power.”

“I believe that when they feel that they can do it they will do it. Right now there is absolutely no support from the American public to invade Iran,” he underscored.

Olivier also opined on the freedom of speech in the US and said, “we have the freedom of speech as long as not too many people hear you. There are a lot of roadblocks that are putting place. Every television interview that I’ve ever had scheduled has always been canceled. Some places where I advertise or I think that I’m going to be able to advertise won’t accept my money and they won’t advertise my money. So, yeah we are always free to say what we want, but it becomes very difficult to reach the number of people that we want to reach.”
