Abbas Davari

Head of NCRI's Labor Committee

Abbas Davari with the nickname of Kamal was born in 1943 in Tabriz. He started working as a worker when he was 12. In 1967, he became familiar with the Mojahedin-e-Khalq organization and immediately tended to the organization.

During the Iraqi-imposed war on Iran, MKO in a traitorous activity made common cause with Saddam Hussein.They held secret meetings with high officials of Ba’ath Party, and Davari had the key role in transferring intelligence and receiving huge sums of money for their services.

In Mojahed, No. 316 issued in 1993 the following description is provided on the Head of the Labour Committee:

“Abbass Davari Fayez Pour Azar was born in 1943. He became familiar with MKO in 1969 and started his activities and was arrested by the security services of the former Iranian regime in 1971. After the 1979 Revolution he continued his military and armed operation which was part of the aims and strategies of MKO. He was transferred to France in 1981 and after a while he went to Iraq. In Iraq he assumed the post of commander of NLA north Iraq region. He was also responsible for Radio Mojahed and Mojahed publication as well as MKO foreign relations.”

Currently, he is the Chairman of the Labor Committee of the NCRI, the Mujahedin-e-Khalq’s political wing.
