European lawmaker: Gen. Soleimani's heroic struggles will never be forgotten

Member of the European Parliament Clare Daly in a message termed Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani's assassination by the US as an unlawful act, saying his heroic struggles will never be forgotten.

"Thinking today of #GeneralSoleimani & #AbuMahdialMuhandis unlawfully assassinated by the #US on this day two years ago," Daly wrote in her Twitter account.

"Their heroic struggles against terrorism will never be forgotten..their legacy will prevail," she added.

Earlier, University of California professor David Yaghoubian said that the assassination of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani will motivate the Axis of Resistance to continue his path.

Meanwhile, American author Robert Fantina referred to US and Israeli regimes involvement in assassination of Martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, saying Israel, like the United States, holds international law and human rights in contempt.

US terrorists assassinated General Soleimani, the commander of the Qods Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the former commander of Iraq’s Popular

Mobilization Units (PMU), along with their companions by targeting their vehicles outside Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020, at the direct order from then US President Donald Trump.
