Born in Lasht-e Nesha district in Rasht county on November 3, 1965, where he grew up and went to school.

When the Islamic Revolution was founded by the great leadership of Imam Khomeini, Alavi joined the multitude of Muslim protesters and after the triumph of the Revolution, he joined the IRGC.

During the Iraqi imposed war on Iran, Alavi hurried to the war front and fought valiantly alongside other Muslim soldiers. He served as the Information Operations Officer for the 2nd brigade, 16th Qods division of Gilan.

Although he was wounded several times in battle and lost his heels, Alavi was always present at battlefield and never forbore from defending Iran against the Iraqi aggressors.

Finally, 24-year-old Alavi was martyred by MKO elements on December 29, 1989.
