‘1st National Congress of 17000 Iranian Terror Victims is an initiative’

Ran for President with the American Third Position Party in 2012, Merlin Miller is an MFA graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts whose award winning films include, A Place to Grow and Jericho. As a US presidential nominee, Miller paid a visit to the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, on September 8, 2012. He is an independent film director, producer and writer and the founder of Americana Pictures, an independent motion picture company based in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

What follows is the full text of Habilian Association’s interview with Merlin Miller on a number of issues, including the 1st National Congress of 17000 Iranian Terror Victims, the US and Israeli supports for anti-Iran terrorist groups, including Jundallah and Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, a.k.a. MEK).

Habilian: Over 17000 Iranian innocent people, from carpenters to university professors, have fallen victim to the terrorist groups like Jundallah, which despite its horrendous crimes was not blacklisted in the US and its leader himself confessed upon arrest it was funded by US and Israel. What’s your take on this issue?

Miller: Zionist/Globalist forces seek to create disunity and chaos in nations, which they target. Since Iran has courageously stood for its own best interests (in opposition to an "elitist" centralization of power - "The New World Order"), it has been attacked, in various ways, and its sovereignty violated. The funding and support of organized opposition groups, including terrorist organizations, such as Jundallah, is part of their despicable strategy. Unfortunately, Zionist elements surreptiously control much of the American landscape (government infrastructure and mainstream media) and the American people are deceived, allowing for these horrendous crimes to go unchallenged in the public arena.

Habilian: What is your perspective on the way Iran is depicted in the US media?

Miller: The American mainstream media is totally owned and controlled by Zionist elements. They promote falsehoods and destructive images of Iran and the Islamic world, which foment misunderstandings and animosities among the American public. Alternative media (primarily through the internet and talk radio) is the only counterbalance, but unfortunately does not reach a significant audience. For Iran to be better perceived, will require targetting various entertainment mediums - which requires significant funding and infrastructure support. But this is most important and where the battle for truth and justice will be won or lost.

Habilian: How do you evaluate the necessity of holding the 1st National Congress on 17000 Iranian Terror Victims? And what are your suggestions for improving the Conference?

Miller: The 1st National Congress of 17000 Iranian Terror Victims is an initiative, which will hopefully engage international discussion on a situation which most are unaware. The promoted truths should be eye-opening and engender understanding and support for Iran. My suggestions for improving the Conference will come after experiencing and analyzing this first one. However, I suggest inclusion of numerous human rights organizations, including diverse charitable and religious/spiritual organizations.

Habilian: The Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization, which killed 6 US citizens in 1970s and some 12000 innocent Iranians during the past three decades, opened its Washington office, earlier in April, just a block away White House. Is the Obama administration really unaware of the group’s crimes? Or they believe that the leopard can change its spots?

Miller: I can only speculate on the Obama administration's motives for legitimizing the MEK, but am shocked by it. The group's violent past and agenda for creating anarchy seems to be driven by a communist-Marxist ideology without any rational or noble basis. This is certainly not in keeping with America's best traditions, but unfortunately does advance the destructive Globalist agenda - and must be stopped.

Habilian: Each year, the MEK celebrates the anniversary of its armed struggle against its compatriots in June 1981, and several high-profile US former and current politicians take free trips to the gatherings. For example, San Diego Mayor Filner attended this year’s gathering earlier in June and spent thousands of dollars at taxpayers’ expense to send a security detail with him. What’s your take on these? Why are these political figures rubbing shoulders with this terrorist group?

Miller: American politicians who support, at taxpayer expense, criminal groups - are being duped (at best), or treasonous (at worst). They should be impeached and tried, as they have violated American law and the trust of their office and constituents. They get away with this due to machinations which have subverted American justice. Senator John McCain is just as guilty as Mayor Filner for McCain's recent unauthorized trip to Syria and his meeting with terrorist groups in that country. I believe that these corrupt politicians rub shoulders with unsavory types as part of their subservience to elitist controllers, which advances the ruthless Zionist/Globalist agenda.
