Rudy Giuliani Gives Warmonger Speech for MEK

Rudy Giuliani gave a warmonger speech sponsored by the MEK, a group listed by the US as a terrorist organization from 1997 to 2012.

On Wednesday, Rudy Giuliani gave the speech at a rally in Warsaw at the behest of MEK, or The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, previously listed as a terrorist organization by Washington. Mr Giuliani said he attended the demonstration at the invitation of the MEK. The former New York mayor has represented MEK for 11 years, but his work for the group has come under renewed scrutiny since he joined President Trump’s legal team in April.

When asked if he was being paid, Mr Giuliani said his arrangements were confidential. He has acknowledged giving a paid speech for the group just after joining the presidents legal team and appeared at an MEK event outside Paris in July. Mr Giuliani conceded that he had not notified the administration of his plans to attend the rally in Warsaw.

Giuliani called for the overthrow of the Iranian government. “It must end and end quickly,” Mr Giuliani told a crowd of several hundred people gathered outside Poland’s national football stadium.
