MKO claims responsibility for assault on a military vehicle

The Mujahedeen e-Khalq terrorist group has claimed responsibility for assault on a vehicle carrying IRGC forces in Isfahan, in 1983.

According to Habilian Association database (Specialized Center of Research on the MKO's Crimes), the MKO terrorist group has made the confession in No. 142 of the Mujahid Journal, the group’s main press organ during early years of the 80s.

According to this news that the MKO’s publication has referred to it as a document for its bravely operations, on February 23, 1983, a unit of MKO stopped a vehicle carrying IRGC forces in Ahmadabad square of Isfahan, then throw a powerful bomb into the car. Based on the news, during the attack, two members of IRGC forces were killed and 12 members were seriously injured.
