Iran sets up committee to study uuse of biological weapons by terrorists

The head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council announced on Thursday the creation of a special committee examining the use of biological weapons by terrorists.

"It is necessary to examine this theme [biological terrorism], I made an order to put this question forward to properly examine all its aspects," Ali Shamkhani said as quoted by Iran's Tasnim news agency.

The move comes a week after Iranian authorities announced that they managed to prevent several terrorist attacks across the country, including Tehran.
