Terrorism can be controlled if confronted seriously: leader

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayataollah Ali Khamenei, met with Alexis Trispas, the Greek Prime Minister, Monday afternoon at his office in Tehran.

Commenting on the situation in Syria, Tsipras said: “We hope that we will be witness to positive developments on the issue of Syria because this is a crisis that has human dimensions, as a result of which hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to leave their houses and migrate to other countries – including Greece – because of terrorist attacks.”

Referring to the Greek Prime Minister’s comments on Syria, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed: “Terrorism is a contagious and very dangerous disease that can be controlled if everyone confronts it seriously. But unfortunately, some people help terrorists either directly or indirectly.”
