Martyr Fazlollah Soleimani was born in 1950 in Shangaldeh village near Amol. He quit school because of his family’s poor financial conditions and started working as a construction worker.

As he was grown in a religious family, he was very much affected by Islam and its prophet. Fazlollah was in touch with Qom’s Hawzah and its religious leaders. He used to spread Imam Khomeini’s announcements in the village and the city. Martyr Soleimani was a very active revolutionary person who tried so much to reveal Shah’s betrayals. He was also active in the February 1979 clashes with Shah regime forces and participated in the capture of many garrisons.

Fazlollah Soleimani was martyred in a battle against rioters who had attacked Amol in January 26, 1982.
