Martyr Mohammad Zolfaqari was born in 1960 in Mianroud village. He was born in a poor religious family. As he was from a village with a low income family, he was touched by pain and hardship since the early years in his life.

He used to study and work at the same time until he heard the Islamic Revolution’s call. He used to spread religious activities in his neighborhood and tried to serve the Revolution’s cause by participating in rallies and spreading Imam Khomeini’s announcements. He didn’t stop farming even after the victory of Islamic Revolution. He was always busy inviting speakers, buying books and publishing posters to help increase the insight of neighboring villages. He was a very patient man against the problems he frequently encountered in his work. He always argued with Islamic Revolution’s enemies. He then decided to join the IRGC since he believed he could be of more use in there. After joining the IRGC, he was dispatched to Amol jungles to combat the rioters. When the rioters attacked Amol, he was among the first people who started defending the city. Mohammad Zolfaqari was martyred in the fight against rioters.
