Iraqi Sunni al-Ezzah tribe Chief Sheikh Mazen Habib al-Kheizaran said his tribe supports Iraqi government's decision to expel MKO members from the country.

"I respect constitution of my country and norms of my tribe. The constitution of my country does not allow Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) terrorist cell to stay inside Iraq anymore and I will support my country and the decision of the government in deporting the group. We call for expulsion of this group from Iraq and will back any decision made by the government, but we believe that this issue is better to be solved by Human Rights Group," he told ISNA.

"Financial support for MKO terrorist cell is considered interference in the interior affairs of our country," he added.

Referring to financial backings which strengthen the group's terrorist actions, he pointed out, "the group is supported by US and there are many overt and covert communications between them."

He condemned countries providing MKO with financial aid and called it "meddling in the interior affairs of the country."

Also regarding a Spanish court's verdict on conviction of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki over the so-called mistreatment with members of Camp Ashraf, he said: "we consider this verdict as interference in interior affairs of Iraq which is an independent country. We will not let any country to interfere in domestic matters of Iraq."

Ezzah tribe is one of the biggest Sunni tribes in Iraq and is located in the province of Diyala.
