Iraq’s government took control of Ashraf Camp in the wake of violent clashes between Mujahideen Khalq and Iraqi Forces on Friday.
Iraqi State Minister and Cabinet spokesman Ali Al Dabbagh said in a statement to Alsumaria News that riots were spurred by Mujahidden Khalq members around the camp which required the intervention of security forces.
